Awful place, avoid. We have spent the weekend in Bergen and encountered nothing but lovely people. However the male manager of this shop swore at me for simply looking in the window, yes I was smoking a cigarette outside the shop and moved when asked but there was simply no need for his aggressive attitude. Thankfully I hadn’t yet entered and am pleased I did as I went to numerous other shops and their service was fantastic and helped me spend my pennies. His loss I guess but definitely avoid as this man clearly has an attitude problem and from other reviews it appears I’m not the first person to encounter him.

store with selection of souvenirs. sadly our experience was very unpleasant, as we got several remarks from the shop clerk regarding our kid playing with the troll figures, ranging from these can break, if you break it you pay for it, and this is not a playground. rather rude and unfriendly.

I was in Norway last spring, and this store has many lovely items, but my daughter was in desperate need of a raincoat. The people were friendly and helpful to us, while we shopped and she walked out with a red raincoat!
I bought a different type of jacket and when I got back to the states, my mom wanted one as well. Even with the time difference, email was the type of correspondence that worked and my mom also got a darling Floral jacket!
Now, my sister-in-law also wants one, and the manager is, agin, being very helpful! This store is a great on in Bergen!

4 stars reviews, I should have checked them before entering this place after thinking about coming here for 2 days.
1 star is not enough to describe how I felt and what happened here with its temporary store manager. A cheap object falls as a result of a mistake and they want me to pay 40% of the price out of nothing, without even trying to understand the mistake.
Very bad selling techniques, because as a result we bought only the broken object (whilst we were ready to buy the equivalent of 60€ of stuff) disgusted by the completely unfair treatment.
Oh, he even menaced to call the security while I was trying to express my rights and to explain that, when he first approached me after the falling, he said that as soon as I was buying other things, he would have been alright. Thanks to people like this, business fails.
To the real store manager: you should totally find a new employee, as this one has been impolite, rude, dishonest, completely incapable of conducting a business.
And to the "temporary store manager", do not even try to say "We prefer to have other kind of customers" because if I was another kind of person, I would have left without even paying the broken object. I strongly hope that you will find proper use of my 300 NOK.
